The Association of Midlands Mediators is holding its Annual General Meeting on Monday the 19th May 2014 at the Birmingham offices of Anthony Collins Solicitors of 134 Edmund Street, Birmingham, B3 2ES.
The Annual General Meeting will deal with the re election of the current committee, immediately after the members of the Association of Midlands Mediators are invited to attend the Spring Training Seminar led by renowned mediator David Richbell of Mediation and Training Alternatives.
David is considered to be amongst the best none lawyer mediators in the United Kingdom, accredited and trained by the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution over twenty two years ago as well as being trained in mediation in the United States of America by Endispute in Boston and the Law School of Harvard University in 1996.
David was also an executive Director of CEDR appointed in 1993 up until 2001. David practice encompasses him being a full time commercial mediator and provider of mediation training the majority of it overseas.
The seminar he will be delivering for the Association of Midlands Mediators members is entitled Maturing Mediation, schedule to last 4 hours attracting 3 CPD hours.

The Association of Midlands Mediators currently has 38 mediators who specialise in a variety of civil, commercial and workplace disputes, eight of Effective Dispute Solutions Limiteds mediators are members of the Association.
Mediator Jane Walmsley was one of the founding members back in 2000 and was instrumental in setting up the Birmingham Civil Justice Centre mediation services pilot, which was ran in conjunction with the then Lord Chancellors Department, now the Ministry of Justice.
