Employment Tribunal Claims

The Employment Tribunals are independent judicial bodies who determine disputes between employers and employees over employment rights. These include: unfair dismissal, redundancy payments, discrimination a range of claims relating to wages and other payments.

Employment Tribunal Process

The process is a formal one involving evidence being led from witnesses and cross examination, which is very similar to what happens in an ordinary Court. Mediation provides an alternative way to resolve an employment / workplace dispute which does not involve going through the normal tribunal hearing process,.

Employment Tribunal Hearing

When a person makes an Employment Tribunal claim normally a Hearing will take place before an Employment Tribunal at which evidence is heard and legal arguments are made with a decision (judicial determination) then being made on the case.

Employment Mediation

Mediation is cheaper, quicker and less stressful than an Employment Tribunal. If you have an employment or workplace dispute of any nature and you have started, thinking of starting or defending a claim in the Employment Tribunal or at Court appoint one of our workplace mediators.
