Mediation Services events by mediation providers are on the increase here in the UK and overseas. The ADR Group is running a networking lunch for its mediators on Tuesday 11th February 2014 at the Bleeding Heart, Hatton Garden, London.

The  ADR Group has secured as their guest speaker a great advocate of mediation, Sir Bernard Rix who is a former Lord Justice of Appeal. Sir Rix retired recently and has now returned to Chambers at 20 Essex Street, London, taking appointments as an arbitrator and a mediator. Sir Rix is also an ADR Group accredited mediator.

Mediators, members and non members are all welcomed; please note there will be a charge for non members.

The Mediation Matters Conference will take place on Thursday 13th March 2014 at the University of Warwick, CV4 7AL. The prominent mediator Michel Killipetis QC, the former head of Littleton Chambers will be delivering the keynote address.

The workshop event is aimed at mediators, legal professionals, surveyors and those with an interest in alternative dispute resolution. Professor Andrew Goodman will also be present to convene the mediation role plays and workshops.

The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) will be holding its 9th International Mediation Competition, the mediation week long competition will commence on the 6th February 2014. The competition attracts mediators from across the globe to take part in this prestigious event which takes place in Paris.

The Civil Mediation Council will be hosting its annual national conference on Thursday 22nd May 2014 in Leeds at the Met Hotel. Tickets start at £125.00 per delegate for members of the Civil Mediation Council.

The current draft programme boasts prominent figures from the legal, and mediation world to include, Sir Alan Ward, Lord Justice Briggs and possibly Lord Faulks.
