Mediation Services Events July 14

The World Mediation Summit will be taking place from the 1st to the 4th July 2014 in Madrid, the venue shall be the Universidad Politecnica de Madrid.

The ADR Group will be delivering its next networking mediation lunch event on Tuesday 8th July 2014. The venue is the prestigious restaurant the Abode of 107 Piccadilly, Manchester, M1 2DB.

The topic of discussion shall be the EU Mediation Directive, One Size Fits All? The events speaker will be Zoe Giannopoulou PhD, who sits as the Deputy President of the Mediators Accreditation Committee for the Greek Ministry of Justice, equally she is a member of ADR Groups International Training Faculty.

Rahim Shamji who is also a mediator as well as the Director of Education and Training will be the ADR Groups representative. Members, mediators of the ADR Group can attend for free, non members are also welcomed with a charge of £25.00 plus VAT.

The mediation event does attract 1 point towards continual professional development which is recognised by the Bar Standards Board, the Solicitors Regulation Authority, as well as the Civil Mediation Council.

Moving from Manchester to London, Pengaron Mediation Services Ltd, are hosting a mediators breakfast club, their next meeting will take place on Wednesday 16th July 2014 at the The Punch Tavern of 99 Fleet Street, London, EC4Y 1DE.

Guest speakers will include law firms CMS Cameron McKennas Tim Hardy who is their head of commercial litigation as well as Michael Cover a well recognised independent mediator who is also the Chairman of the Practice and Standards Committee for the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

The topic for discussion is the buying and selling of mediation services, business and market development in mediation.

The cost of attendance is £5.00 which is payable by cash on the day, again this event attracts 1 CPD point recognized by the Civil Mediation Council.
